Typical Hampton Inn with all the standard amenities. Room 123 was cozy, however there were dead bugs & small ants in the room. Breakfast; lots of nutritious and delicious options.
Breakfast and Parking are free. Clean rooms, smart TV, and perfectly climate controlled rooms. The front desk do an exceptional job. And the housekeeping are on top of everything. Place is always clean. I’ve been staying here often lately and I HIGHLY recommend. Do your due diligence to make sure your room is ready however, I’ve heard negative things from other guests. But as for me, I love this hotel. Best one in the area, by far!
A great stay! But what stood out most was the gentleman who welcomed us on the early evening of 8/19. We didn’t catch his name but the next morning when we asked, the woman at the desk said it was Rowan. He was SO friendly and smiling and just made us feel immediately welcome. Thank you!!

The biggest highlight is the staff. From check-in to breakfast, many guests consistently mention how warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming the team is. Front desk associates like Rowan, Jamal/Jemal, Jahfrica, and others are frequently praised for being friendly, efficient, and going above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. The breakfast attendants, especially Stephanie, also receive a lot of love for keeping the breakfast area well-stocked, clean, and upbeat. That level of hospitality really sets this property apart. That said, this location has clearly seen some wear over time. Several guests mention dated rooms, worn carpets, slow water pressure, older bathrooms, and occasional cleanliness inconsistencies (crumbs, bugs, or odors). While not universal, these issues pop up often enough to be noticeable. The hotel could benefit from a renovation or deeper attention to room updates to match the level of service being provided by the staff.
Ok. This is to a new standard. The staff , room, food and parking were great! This was the standard I will use from now on. Have been to over 70 stays this was one of my best.
This has been my 4th stay at Hampton Inn Tallahassee Central and you’ll see from my review why that is. The staff are always so warm, kind, welcoming, and go above and beyond to accommodate you. I always enjoy seeing Ms. Jahfrica and Ms. Jill at front desk. I recently met Mr. Roy-front desk, Mr. Sal-breakfast attendant, and Manager Mr. Tim. Housekeeping staff as well are delightful! The beds are comfy and the property is CLEAN! The complimentary hot breakfast is the icing on the cake. There were a few changes that needed to be made to my room and they fixed it right away! I will be coming back soon! ;)
Check in was easy and Rowan was so friendly and helpful. The hotel room was nice and had a comfortable bed. We stayed one night and didn't have any complaints.
Room needs some updating. Shower was slow flow, clean room but we could tell the hotel needs attention. Staff are helpful and friendly.
